Innovative Transport Solutions is the leading team of transport planners and engineers that is undertaking the review and update of the City of Cape Town’s Integrated Public Transport Plan (IPTN). A design-thinking approach has been adopted, where the user is central to the planning of the service. Also, to improve the resilience of the plan, we are planning for an uncertain future. Our transport planners and engineers with the City of Cape Town officials, have gone through a process to identify plausible and probable futures, and will develop an IPTN that is robust and can remain resilient in the face of probable futures.
